Inspiring Career Paths at Southern University A&M College School of Nursing

Southern University and A&M College School of Nursing hosted an event aimed to educate the nursing students on the role of Nurse Injectors and how that can translate into a career with Allergan Aesthetics. 

Ginille Brown, NP, was the featured speaker who talked about her journey to and experience being a Nurse Practitioner in Aesthetics Medicine to over 75 students. This phenomenal program engaged the students about opportunities in the Medical Aesthetics industry. The success of this program has the students and Allergan Aesthetics excited about the next event planned.

In My Eyes – Florida A&M University

In 2021, Allergan Aesthetics launched a pilot program challenging university students to examine how beauty is perceived within the Black community at Florida A&M University—a public, historically Black university located in Tallahassee, Florida.

Students were asked to explore issues around Black attractiveness, with the hope to gain an understanding of how American society and culture perceive Black attractiveness and determine how the organization could promote similarities by using their brand’s voice to bridge gaps.

Teams of students were tasked with creating a 30-minute interactive presentation sharing their thoughts and ideas. The students' ideas and perceptions were then brought to department leads who were blown away by the ideas.

The insights from the program were eye opening and they are exploring doing this with other universities on other topics in the future.
